You're in luck! We're looking for quality used bikes!
What do we do with them?
- Well, first off our motivation is to see quality bikes stay out of the dumpster.
- Some bikes we fix up and donate to local charities
- Some Bikes we fix up and sell.
- Some bikes we simply part out to fix the other bikes.
What Brand of bikes do you accept?
- Quality bikes only please. Such as: Specialized, Trek, Univega, Redline, Haro, Gary Fisher, Giant, Jamis, Raleigh, and Iron Horse,
- The rule of thumb-we will take your bike if it was over $250 new AND purchased from a bicycle store.
Why only accept quality bikes?
- Department store bikes, typically weren't safe when they were new so its very unlikely that they would be safe to ride after a year or two of riding.
- Department store bikes use less alloy, making recycling less cost effective.
- There is zero resale value to a department store bike.
- Department store bikes use parts that are of a low quality making them almost useless as a donor or part bike.
What do I get out of the deal?
- Piece of mind knowing your quality bike didn't end up in a landfill!
